Q. What is The AeroClinic and The
AmeriClinic?
A. The AeroClinic is the convenient-health-smart-quick-care
clinic that is airport-based for travelers and airport/airline
workers in need of convenient minor ill-care and well-care
treatment.
The AmeriClinic will offer the same convenient, health-smart
services but in community settings such as grocery stores
and retail pharmacies. Stay tuned for more information on
The AmeriClinic openings in the future.
The companys initial clinic launch and focus are airport-based
clinics serving the traveling public as well as the thousands
of airport/airline employees and their families.
Q. When should I use The AeroClinic
services?
A. If you are a traveler, airport, airline
or governmental employee in the airport, you can use The
AeroClinics fast, convenient, and affordable treatment for
routine medical conditions, or for easy, inexpensive access
to health screenings, medical tests, immunizations (including
flu and pneumonia shots). Prescription/pre-packaged pharmacy
services are also available on-site in our clinics.

And, for employees of our airline partners and other large
employers, we also provide on-site occupational medicine
services in a convenient, accessible setting to care for

Q. What is a Nurse Practitioner and
a Physician Assistant?
A. The AeroClinic utilizes both Nurse Practitioners
and Physician Assistants to provide our expert clinical
services. All of our practitioners are dedicated to providing
our patients with the highest quality medical services.
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses with advanced
academic and clinical experience. They are supervised by
physicians in the administration of delivering care and
may prescribe certain medications within state regulations.
They provide diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, and
disease prevention services that include screenings and
well-care.
Physician Assistants (PAs) are nationally certified healthcare
professionals who provide health services under the supervision
of a physician. They provide well-care, physical examinations,
diagnose and treat illnesses, counsel on preventive care
and in virtually all states, PAs can write prescriptions.
Their education and training uniquely complements a physicians
training.
Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. Yes. AeroClinic and AmeriClinic accepts most major healthcare insurance plans. In the event your carrier is not covered within one of these groups, we will provide you with a properly formatted receipt that you may submit for reimbursement from your individual insurance carrier.
Q. Do I need an appointment at The
AeroClinic?
A. No. Our services typically take about
15 minutes and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served
basis. However, you may schedule appointments through our
website or by calling ahead if you desire.
Q. Does The AeroClinic treat children?
A. Our services are available to those
two years of age or older. Any patient under the age of
18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Q. Can I see The AeroClinic for all
healthcare services?
A. No. Our delivery is limited to a defined
scope of services (

here to see description of services). We do not provide
on-going care for chronic diseases and conditions and we
encourage all individuals to establish a medical home in
their community for ongoing health issues.
Q. How much do your services cost?
A. Our treatment is affordable with averages
for acute care services ranging from $75 to $85. Other preventive
healthcare services start as low as $10. See Services &

Q. How do I access my screening and
test results?
A. Some screening and test results are
completed on-site and will be available immediately. Others
may take a bit longer and will be available through your
safe and secure, web-based Personal Healthcare Record. After
your set-up using your unique username and password to access
your labs, screenings and test results, simply go to our
website at
www.theaeroclinic.com
and select Access Your Personal Healthcare Record. You will
be prompted from there. You may also elect to receive your
results by mail, which we are happy to accommodate as well.
Q. Will you communicate with my primary
care provider?
A. Yes, with your approval. It is not our
intention to replace your primary care provider (PCP), but
to "fill in the gap" when you require minor ill-care and
prevention services. We encourage all of our patients to
establish a permanent medical home. Utilizing the industrys
most advanced information technology system from McKesson,
our ability to communicate with you and your primary care
provider is simple and seamless. Once your Personal Health
Record is set up, we make it available to you electronically
for your follow-up with your primary care physician (or
other healthcare providers). It describes the details of
your history with us as well as the results of any tests.
Q. I am an airport employee.can I
utilize The AeroClinic services?
A. Absolutely! Our clinics provide a quick
convenient means to get access to affordable minor ill-care
and well care services for the thousands of employees who
call the airport home each day. We also provide occupational
medical services for our airline partners. These services
include treatment of injuries, pre-employment testing, drug
screening, physical therapy and more – all designed to get
you back to work on the job happy and healthy.
